Letting go
You ask yourself: Is my life the way it’s supposed to be?
The worries of everyday life drive you through the week.
You’re trapped in a web of white lies.
The sensible choice has grown into a huge, ugly monster that won’t let you escape.
Nothing and no one can save you.
But you want to be free, even if only for a moment.
To run barefoot through the grass and look up at the clouds on your back—with the sun on your face.
To dance to the music without a care in the world.
Suddenly, you’re standing at the edge of the world.
Before you lies a universe of light and peace.
It’s so beautiful, so vast—a boundless comfort.
There’s so much love and so much peace.
You cry.
You look behind you—there are the people holding you back with their problems.
You can’t just leave them behind, can you? Or can you?
All the problems are calling your name.
But there, in the right-hand corner, stands a girl.
She looks like you did when you first experienced pain.
She smiles at you kindly.
Her eyes shine, and she whispers… jump!
And suddenly you find the strength. It’s as if the remnants of your soul, hidden deep within the girl, have flowed back into you through her whisper.
It fills your entire body and cries out: Jump, jump…., jump!
Louder and louder.
You jump, Whooo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo
You float through the universe of light.
You let yourself fall because you know that you are allowed to live—to truly live.
True life, as it is written in your soul.
Only then can you live the life you are meant to live.
Live! Enjoy the adventure called life, and savor the peace and love.
You can trust that everything will be all right.
